Day 1 | ADDIS ABABA – BAHAR DAR ( DRIVE )

In the morning after breakfast drive to Bahirdar through Debre Libanos monastery and Blue Nile Gorge.

Day 2 | EXCURSION IN BAHIR DAR ( LAKE TANA & BULE NILE FALLS )

In the morning after breakfast make a boat trip on Lake Tana to visit isolated monasteries. There is good birding in the lush forest surrounding much of the lake. Then drive to the thundering Blue Nile Falls. Along the walk to the falls, birding is excellent.

Day 3 | BAHIR DAR – GONADR

In the morning drive to Gondar. Then city tour of Gondar including a visit to the Royal Compound, where enchanting 17th-century castles stand. Also, visit Debre Berhan Selassie Church meaning Trinity at the Mount of Light.

Day 4 | GONDAR – SIEMEN MTS. NATIONAL PARK – GONDAR

The morning after breakfast drive to the jagged panorama of the Simien Mountains National Park, famed for its exclusive landscape, afro-alpine vegetation, and unique wildlife, where you may spot the endemic Wallia Ibex, Gelada Baboon troops, Bushbuck, Klipspringer. Then drive back to Gonder.

Day 5 | GONDAR – LALIBELA ( DRIVE )

In the morning after breakfast drive to Lalibela through Woreta also visit the Awramba community village.

Day 6 | LAIBELA VISIT ROCK HWEN CHURCHES

After breakfast visit Lalibela rock-hewn churches, famous for their rock-hewn churches dating back 800 years. This is the most important stop on the historical route and from the air, the 11 churches, carved into the rugged mountainside, present an awesome spectacle. Afternoon excursion to the most spectacular churches.

Day 7 | DEPART TO ADDIS ABABA

In the morning fly back to Addis Ababa and shop at souvenir shops. Evening fair well dinner and transfer to airport for departure.
